Lorry driver who had ‘suspected medical episode’ on A11 dies

A lorry driver who had a 'suspected medical episode' and a collision on the A11 has died in hospital today, according to police. A man in his 60s, the driver of the lorry, was taken to Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital by ambulance after the collision on the A11 near Thetford on Friday, April 25. The lorry was travelling northbound at 5.09pm when it left the road and came to a stop on the roundabout with the A1075.

Emergency services were on scene and treated the driver, who was found unresponsive in the cab following a suspected medical episode.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the collision or who has any relevant dashcam footage.
