‘Lovely boy’ died in South West crash just before birthday
Tributes have been paid after a 22-year-old died in a crash on a South West road. Connor Hobbs, 22, from South Molton, died following the crash between a car and a lorry on an unclassified road at Kingsland Barton, South Molton, on Monday, May 12. His family have now shared a heartfelt tribute to him.
Investigations into the collision areongoing, Devon and Cornwall Police said. Officers are continuing to appeal for information from witnesses, as DevonLive reports.[1] In a tribute, his family said: "The family and friends of Connor Hobbs are devastated by his tragic death on Monday, May 12 in the collision, a week short of his 23rd birthday.
"We are grateful for the loving comments and pictures that have been shared of our lovely boy who held family and friends dear to his heart. "We would politely request that we are now left alone to grieve and process the events of his death."
