Pedestrian suffers head injury in crash with van

A pedestrian was taken to hospital after being struck by a van in Gloucestershire[1]. The person suffered a head injury in a crash on the A4136 Cinderford West[2] in the early hours of this morning, Thursday, May 29. Gloucestershire Police[3] say the crash took place near the turning for Brierley at around 5.30am.

The road was blocked in both directions while emergency services were at the scene. The pedestrian was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital[4] for treatment to a head wound, a police spokesperson said. Gloucestershire Police said: "We were called at 5.30am this morning (Thursday 29 May) with a report of a collision on the A4136 Cinderford West.
