Police called to Kent M2 after three-vehicle crash blocks motorway
Police were called to a key stretch of the M2 between Faversham and Sittingbourne[1] this morning (Thursday, May 22) following a crash involving three vehicles[2]. Emergency services rushed to the London-bound carriageway between Junction 6, near Faversham[3], and Junction 5, for the A249 and Stockbury Roundabout, shortly after 7am. There, two cars and a van had been involved in a crash.
The motorway was subsequently closed for a brief period while emergency responders worked to clear the carriageway.
