Police officer ‘dragged’ by van after it failed to stop
Two men were arrested following the incident

A police officer was dragged a short distance by a vehicle after attempting to stop it from driving in a bus lane on one of Bristol's busiest roads.
On Wednesday, April 23, at around 8am, a vehicle was driving in a bus lane on the A4 Bath Road, near Totterdown Bridge.
An officer, who was on a foot patrol at the time, attempted to stop the vehicle.
At this time, he was involved in a collision with a white Ford transit.
The officer was dragged a short distance by the vehicle.

Avon and Somerset Police[1] said the officer did not suffer any serious injuries from the incident.
Two men, aged 18 and 23, were arrested[2] on suspicion of attempted grievous bodily harm and failure to stop.
