Police search for potential witness to fatal collision near Waddington

Officers are searching for a potential witness after receiving new information following a fatal crash near Waddington. Lincolnshire Police were called to the A607 crossroads with the B1202 at Boothby Graffoe after reports of a collision.[1][2][3] The crash involved a silver Peugeot Boxer van and a grey Lexmoto LXS motorcycle.

The rider of the motorcycle, a man in his 30s, died from injuries sustained in the collision. The incident took place at around 4.45pm on October 11, 2024. Investigators have been working on the case for months to piece together what happened, and have recently had new testimony from a witness at the scene.

Due to this, the force is now appealing to members of the public for help in locating the driver of a medium-sized hatchback vehicle. This driver was in no way involved in the collision, but is understood to have pulled onto the B1202 Heath Lane from the A607 at Boothby Graffoe on the day of the accident, and may be able to provide key evidence. Officers want to locate the driver of the vehicle, which was either grey, silver or white in colour.
