The A52 eastbound was closed at about 06:15 BST on Monday following a crash involving two vehicles, one of which was a lorry, according to National Highways.

Queueing traffic was reported from the M1 Junction 25 at Sandiacre to the Bardills Roundabout in Stapleford, Nottinghamshire, before one lane reopened at about 08:30.

Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service said no injuries had been reported.

National Highways said it had been managing diversions with "strategic closures" on the approach while all emergency services were working at the scene.

Buses on the i4, indigo and Red Arrow routes were experiencing "significant delays", said operator Trent Barton.
