Teenage driver arrested after B661 crash near Huntingdon
Emergency services were called to Diddington Wood, near Perry, after a crash between a grey Seat Ibiza, a grey BMW 218i and a lorry took place at around 8.45pm on May 9. It was on the B661, near Huntingdon. The front seat passenger in the Seat, a 17-year-old boy from Godmanchester, was taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries.
The driver and another passenger from the car were uninjured. The drivers of the other vehicles were uninjured and remained at the scene. The driver of the Seat, an 18-year-old man from Buckden, was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving while under the influence of drink and drugs and has been released on bail.
Cambridgeshire Police officers are now appealing for information or dashcam footage from anyone who may have witnessed the crash or the moments leading up to it.
