Clarkson’s Farm star Kaleb Cooper saves the day after ‘preventing accident’
Clarkson's Farm breakout star Kaleb Cooper leapt into action to avert disaster after farm equipment fell off a trailer near Diddly Squat Farm. The 26 year old, who shot to fame on Jeremy Clarkson's hit Amazon Prime Video series, was seen at the roadside of the A3400 in Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire, where a hedge cutter had detached from its trailer. The road was slick with hydraulic fluid, causing vehicles to skid due to the cutter's tank cap coming loose.
It is understood that Kaleb was heading to a bailing job last Friday around 9am when the mishap took place, reports Surrey Live[1]. Afterwards, Kaleb was reportedly spotted making calls from his Mitsubishi L200 truck as he sought to manage the aftermath. Paul Lowe, a 53 year old swimming pool engineer from Abingdon, recounted to The Sun: "I spotted him instantly and was a little bit starstruck as I'm a big fan of the show.
"The hedge cutter was on the back of a trailer pulled by a 4x4. I think it came round the corner and flew off. Hydraulic fluid was pumping out down the road and cars were skidding after driving through it.
It was chaos and pretty dangerous. "Kaleb was parked on the corner speaking with the driver and looked a bit worried. He probably had a lot of other jobs to get done and this only added to his hectic morning.
It was just like watching the show live."

The 53 year old further stated that Kaleb "acted quickly to avoid the spill causing a serious accident" by calling a colleague from his agricultural contracting business to assist in removing the machine from the road. Thames Valley Police have yet to comment on the incident, but it is reported that they were contacted to ensure the road was safe for other motorists. Representatives for Kaleb have been asked for their comments.
This follows last week's news that Kaleb was spotted using a mobility scooter due to a 'busted ankle'. The Amazon Prime Video star, who helps run the former Top Gear presenter's Diddly Squat farm, revealed his injury ahead of the Royal Three Counties show in Worcestershire. In a video on the event's official Instagram account, he said: ''I may be hobbling around because I've got a bit of a busted ankle, but it'll be fine. "In another Instagram Story, he added: "Just got back from football and trying to haul my [butt] to shut the chickens up... look at that ankle."
Kaleb, who has had a busy schedule recently, will be hoping to rest his ankle after Jeremy announced that Clarkson's Farm is taking a 'short break' following its upcoming fifth series.
