Live: M5 traffic stopped after caravan crash

The M5 is at a standstill following a crash involving a caravan this evening (Friday, June 27). A crash, involving a caravan, took place on the M5 Avonmouth[1] Bridge on the southbound carriageway. There is reported debris on the road and traffic[2] has been held.

Traffic monitoring site Inrix reports: "All traffic being temporarily held and stationary traffic due to debris on road and accident, a caravan involved on M5 Avonmouth Bridge Southbound from J18 M49 to J19 A369 Martcombe Road (Portishead).
