Recovery truck driver’s lucky escape after M6 crash with coach

A recovery truck crashed off the M6 near Stoke-on-Trent following a collision with a coach. Thankfully, the driver only sustained minor injuries according to police. In a post shared on its Facebook page, Staffordshire Road Crime Team said: "M6 J14 to J15 two vehicle RTC.

Recovery truck collided with a coach before leaving the carriageway. Luckily minor injury to the driver of the recovery truck." National Highways West Midlands reported at 7.30pm last night that three lanes were closed northbound between J14 Stafford and J15 Stoke-on-Trent due to "a multi-vehicle collision".

It later reported that there had been three miles of congestion before all lanes reopened by 1am.
