Smash sparks rush hour M20 delays between Junctions 9 and 10

A person has been taken to hospital following a crash on the M20 this afternoon. Rush-hour delays are ongoing on the coastbound carriageway between Junction 9 (Ashford South) and Junction 10 (Willesborough).

Traffic monitoring service Inrix says one lane has closed following the incident. Pictures by National Highways show cars queuing alongside the Givaudan factory and towards Junction 10.

Kent Police says two vehicles - a car and a caravan - were involved in the collision.

Paramedics have also confirmed one person was treated at the scene before being taken to William Harvey Hospital for further medical treatment.
