Two men have charged and a third man released on bail after a 17-year-old girl suffered serious injuries following a collision in Small Heath

Two men have been charged following a collision in Birmingham that left a teenager with serious injuries.
The crash took place on Oldknow Road in Small Heath, Birmingham, just after 3pm on Wednesday, June 25.
West Midlands Police[1] said a 17-year-old girl was taken to hospital with serious leg injuries after being hit by a car.

The force has charged Mohammed Amir, aged 30, from Lea Hall Road in Birmingham, with causing serious injury by dangerous driving, driving without insurance, driving whilst disqualified and failing to stop after a road accident.
Article continues belowAmir appeared at Birmingham Magistrates Court[4] yesterday on Friday (June 27) and was remanded into custody ahead of a next hearing.
While Farhaad Sajid, aged 20, from Russell Road in Birmingham, was charged with dangerous driving.
He also appeared at the same court on Friday and was bailed until a next appearance.
Meanwhile, a third man has been released on bail[5] pending further enquires.
Officers are continuing to appeal for information and have urged anyone who can help enquiries, including those with dashcam footage, to get in touch.
A spokesperson for the force said: "We've charged two men after a teenager was seriously injured in a collision in Birmingham[6].
"Mohammed Amir, aged 30, from Birmingham, appeared at Birmingham Magistrates Court[7] yesterday charged with causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
"He was also charged with driving without insurance, driving whilst disqualified and failing to stop after a road accident.
"He was remanded in custody until the next hearing.
"Farhaad Sajid, aged 20, from Birmingham, also appeared at Birmingham Magistrates Court on the same date charged with dangerous driving.
"He was given conditional bail until his next appearance at court.
"A third man has been released on bail pending further enquires.

"She was taken to hospital with serious leg injuries.
"Our investigation is continuing and we are still appealing for anyone who saw what happened, or has any dashcam or CCTV footage, to call us on 101 quoting log 3448 of 25 June."
