A38 ‘police incident’ live as Birmingham city centre hit by rush-hour disruption
A 'police incident' on the A38 has prompted rush hour disruption. The crash happened on the Suffolk Street Queensway causing the southbound carriageway to be partially blocked. It happened near the Pagoda and Radisson Blu hotel.
West Midlands Roads posted on X: "Suffolk Street Queensway - Towards city. "Police Incident. Some delays.
"Plan Ahead: Allow extra time for your journey." Traffic data monitor Inrix said: "A38 Suffolk Street Queensway Southbound partially blocked, queueing traffic due to police incident before Bristol Street (Holloway Circus). "Congestion to St Chads Tunnel."
