Driver banned from the roads after speeding at 65mph on motorway

Stephen Fuller was driving a grey Audi on the M4 near Slough when he was caught on August 15 last year.  High Wycombe Magistrates' Court heard how he was travelling between junctions 4B and 5 on the westbound carriageway.  Fuller was recorded at a speed of 65mph by an automatic camera device.

A variable speed limit of 50mph was in place at the time.  The 66-year-old of Coln Waters, Lechlade, Gloucestershire pleaded guilty to a single count of exceeding a variable speed limit on July 1.  He was disqualified from driving for two months and received three penalty points.

Fuller was also fined GBP128 and must pay GBP120 court costs, plus a GBP51 surcharge.

The money is due to be paid in full by July 29.
