Latest update after police dog suffers injury in Preston tractor crash
Police have issued an update after two of Lancashire Constabulary's dogs were involved in a tractor crash which left a young boy with serious injuries. The incident happened on Stubbins Lane, Claughton-on-Brock, near Preston[1] at 11am on Tuesday, July 15. The road was closed on both sides of the M6[2], from Garstang Road to Lodge Road, for around two hours after the collision.
The tractor is believed to have been emerging from a field when it collided with a Ford Fiesta.
The Ford then collided with a police van carrying an officer and two police dogs; Oakley and Blitz.
