Man in 30s has died following crash on A47 in East Winch last week

A man who was rushed to hospital following a crash on the A47 last week has died. The crash happened on the A47 at East Winch[1] last Wednesday between a white Vauxhall Movano van and an orange DAF truck. The road was closed[2] while emergency services attended the scene.

The van driver, a man aged in his 30s, who was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Lynn by ambulance and was later transferred to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge.

He has since died. The road reopened at 4.30am. The police would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the crash.

This is the second fatal crash in West Norfolk in a week, after a man and woman were killed in a collision on the A17[4] near Lynn.
