Motorcyclist, 70, killed in crash on A478 in Pembrokeshire
The man, 70, who was riding a red Honda Blood Bikes Wales motorcycle, was pronounced dead at the scene of the collision between Glandy Cross and Blaenffos around 6.25pm on Wednesday (July 2). Police were quickly called to the scene of the collision, which also involved a white Volkswagen van. The road remained closed until 7am on Thursday morning while police investigated the collision. A spokesperson for Dyfed-Powys Police said: " The victim's next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers. "One man, aged 56, was arrested on suspicion of death by dangerous driving.
He remains in police custody.
"The road was closed overnight while specialist collision investigators carried out their enquiries."
