Teenage girl dies after crash on A10 in Cambridgeshire

A teenage girl has died after a crash on a major Cambridgeshire[1] A-road. Cambridgeshire Police were called to the crash on the A10 in Waterbeach yesterday[2] (Friday, July 18) just before 1.30pm. The crash, which involved a lorry and motorbike, took place at the junction between the A10 and Denny End Road.

Cambridgeshire Police confirmed a teenage girl died in the crash. A police spokesperson said: "We were called at about 1.30pm yesterday (July 18) to the A10 at the junction with Denny End Road, Waterbeach. A lorry and a motorbike were involved in a collision[3].

"Sadly the rider of the motorbike, a teenage girl, suffered fatal injuries." The road was closed for several hours while emergency services dealt with the incident. It reopened just after 7.30pm.
