A11 near Wymondham reopens after seven vehicle crash

Both lanes in the southbound direction have now reopened between Wymondham and Spooner Row after the crash, which happened at around 2.30am. One lane has also reopened in the northbound direction. According to National Highways, seven vehicles were involved in the crash, which caused some damage to the central barrier.

Traffic monitoring site AA reported that the crash involved six cars and a lorry. Police investigations were ongoing until early on Sunday afternoon. Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service sent crews from Wymondham, Attleborough, Carrow and Earlham to help make the scene safe in the early hours of the morning.

Injuries are not yet known but the East of England Ambulance Service has been contacted for further information.
