Shortly afterwards, bus company Arriva posted online to say its 133 service would have to terminate at Brompton Farm Road in Strood as the rest of the route was blocked. But at about 3pm, it announced: "We are pleased to report that the service to Cliffe is now all open and a normal service will resume with immediate effect."

Police confirmed they attended the incident but said no injuries were reported.

Arrangements were made to move the vehicles involved in the accident.
