Car crash closes A4103 between Cradley and Storridge

The A4103 between Cradley and Storridge was closed yesterday afternoon (August 12) after a trailer and a pickup truck crashed. A man and a woman sustained minor injuries but did not require hospital treatment. A Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "Two crews - one each from Bromyard and Upton-upon-Severn - were called at 2.28pm on August 12 to an RTC involving a small vehicle on Hereford Road, Storridge.

"The incident involved a pickup and a trailer. "Two casualties had self-extricated before the arrival of the fire service and were in the care of the ambulance service, who attended along with police. "The carriageway was blocked in both directions."

A West Midlands Ambulance Service Spokesperson said: "We were called to reports of a single vehicle RTC on the A4103 between Cradley and Storridge, Worcester at 2.21pm today (August 12). "An ambulance, a paramedic officer and a specialist paramedic responded to the scene. "Crews arrived to find two occupants, a man and a woman, who were out of the vehicle.

"Upon assessment, ambulance staff found they had sustained minor injuries and didn't require hospital treatment.

Both were discharged on scene."
