Live M62 updates as ‘van and car overturn’ and traffic stopped
Drivers are facing long delays on the M62 this evening after two vehicles reportedly overturned. Traffic was stopped on the motorway at around 5.25pm on Wednesday, August 6 between junction four at The Rocket and junction five at Roby Road[1], Huyton[2], following a crash. According to National Highways, traffic is currently travelling at around 10mph[3] between junctions four and five.
Traffic monitoring site Inrix[4] said: "M62 Eastbound partially blocked, queueing traffic due to overturned vehicle from J4 (The Rocket) to J5 A5080 Roby Road (Huyton)."
