Live: Major M5 traffic as Friday getaway begins
Drivers face major delays on the M5 around Bristol as the Friday getaway continues. National Highways reports there are patches of extremely heavy traffic from Clevedon to South Gloucestershire. Following an earlier crash, all traffic was held on the motorway northbound at junction 14, near Falfield.
A lorry also crashed into the central reservation near junction 29. One lane of the motorway is closed as 'significant' damage was caused. We will keep you updated with our live blog below.
