M6 traffic LIVE: Overturned caravan sparks motorway closure and MILES of delays
Drivers have been plunged into chaos as an overturned caravan on the M6 has led to "severe delays". Emergency services rushed to the scene on the northbound carriageway between J33 for Hampston and J34 for Lancaster. Several miles of traffic were been reported on the approach to the crash site leading to 30 minute delays, according to National Highways North West.

National Highways North West has confirmed all lanes have reopened on the M6.
The agency said: "All lanes have now reopened on the #M6 northbound between J33 (#Hampson) and J34 (#Lancaster) due to the overturned caravan." Despite this, drivers are still facing delays on the motorway due to the earlier disruption.

Two lanes were then closed following the motorway incident.
