Man fighting for life after motorbike crashes into tree in Cambridgeshire
A motorcyclist is fighting for his life in hospital after a crash on Friday (August 1). The motorbike he was riding crashed into a tree[1] off the A603 near Orwell just after 8.30am. Cambridgeshire Police[2] is appealing for witnesses to the crash.
A spokesperson for the force explained: "The rider of a black Honda CBR motorbike was travelling eastbound along the A603, near Orwell, just after 8.30am when they left the carriageway and struck a tree. "Officers and paramedics attended and the rider, a 44-year-old man from Hitchin, was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries and remains in a critical condition. Police are appealing for witnesses.
"Anyone with any information, including any relevant dash cam footage, is urged to contact police online quoting Operation Upminster or incident 105 of 1 August.
