Motorist caught by automatic camera at 63mph on motorway is banned from the roads

Jan Andrejkovic was driving near Earley, Reading on the M4 eastbound when he was caught by an automatic camera in the area of roadworks. He was recorded at 63mph at the time of the incident on October 13 last year. READ MORE: Driver caught by automatic camera at 60mph on motorway is fined[1]

East Berkshire Magistrates' Court heard how there was a temporary 50mph speed limit in place at the time between Junction 10 to 11. Andrejkovic, 48, of Fenns Way, Woking pleaded guilty to a single count of exceeding a temporary speed restriction. READ MORE: Police concerned for missing person's wellbeing[2]

He was banned from driving for six months and received three points on his licence. 

He was also fined GBP340.

He was also ordered to pay GBP120 in costs and a surcharge of GBP136.
