Motorist caught by automatic camera at 76mph on motorway is fined

Daryl Cribben was travelling between junctions 10 and 12 near Reading when he was clocked at 76mph. The 52-year-old, of The Tennis, Cassington, was on the westbound carriageway at the time of the incident on October 12 last year. Cribben's case was heard at High Wycombe Magistrates' Court on August 12. The court heard how there had been a 50mph speed restriction in place at the time. He was ordered to pay costs of ?90, a victim surcharge of ?422 and a fine of ?1,056.

This must be paid in full by September 9.
