Part of Indian River Drive is closed near Indian Riverside Park after sewage spill
JENSEN BEACH -- Indian River Drive is shut down in both directions north of Indian Riverside Park after a sewage truck rolled over on the road.
It was a one-vehicle rollover. The driver of the truck, whose name and city of residence was not released, had minor injuries, but was not transported to a hospital, according to the Martin County Sheriff's Office, which has deputies at the site.
Indian River Drive is closed at Elaine Street to the north and at the entrance to Indian Riverside Park to the south, said Kayla Drawdy, a civilian service aide for the Martin County Sheriff's Office.

The sewage spill is "sizeable," but did not get into the nearby Indian River Lagoon, sheriff's officials said.
Martin County Fire Rescue worked to contain it.
Rescue officials on site did not know the name of the company hauling the sewage.
