Speed camera catches 13 drivers travelling over 90mph on A14

Norfolk and Suffolk Safety Camera Team caught the speedsters at nine different locations on the major route over the weekend.  In a post on social media the team said: "We carried out speed enforcement and 13 motorists were travelling over 90mph." They advised drivers not to speed and to slow down and stick to speed limits.

Last month the team caught a motorcyclist travelling more than 100mph on the A14[1] at Rougham.  The motorbike was travelling at 112mph and the speed limit is 70mph on that section of the A14. There have been several high speed reports on the A14 this year.

In April, one motorcyclist in the same area was caught going 127mph and in February, two van drivers in Creeting were clocked speeding at 89mph and 96mph.
