‘Three-vehicle’ A12 crash causes Colchester traffic chaos

The crash near Colchester stadium caused traffic backing up for hours during rush hour. Find the full story here.[1] A spokesperson for Essex Police said:

"We were called to reports of a collision on the A12 near Colchester shortly after 8.15am today (Friday, August 29). "It was reported two cars and a lorry were involved. "It is not believed anyone was injured."

Officers are now seeking information from members of the public who may have witnessed the collision or have relevant footage. Police are particularly keen to hear from anyone with CCTV, dash cam or other video evidence relating to the crash. Witnesses are asked to quote incident number 229 of August 29 when making contact.
