The crash happened on the A4440 Whittington Road at around 2pm yesterday (August 21) afternoon.

Speaking at the time a Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "Four crews - two from Worcester and one each from Droitwich and Evesham Fire Stations - and the environmental protection unit from Tenbury Wells were called at 1.54pm on August 21 to an RTV involving a large vehicle on the A4440 Nunnery Way, Worcester. "The incident involved an HGV tanker which was made safe and drained. "One male casualty was given a precautionary check by the ambulance service"

Police officers at the scene confirmed that there had been no injuries and that the tanker was filled with greywater. The road was later closed for around an hour to allow for the recovery of the lorry. "An ambulance and paramedic officer were sent to the scene where, on arrival, crews found a lorry on its side.

"The driver, a man, was assessed by ambulance staff but was not injured and so was given self-care advice and discharged at the scene."
