Witness appeal after man dies in fatal HGV crash on M8

Police[1] are appealing for witnesses after a pedestrian died after being hit by a lorry on the M8 yesterday.

Officers received a report of a man injured on the M8 eastbound, around half a mile east of junction 6 near Newhouse, North Lanarkshire[2] at around 12.40pm on Thursday, August, 28.

It is understood he had been walking along the motorway.
