A228 Sundridge Hill delays after crash involving car and lorry

A crash between a car and a lorry blocked part of a road and causing delays this morning. The accident happened this morning on the A228 Sundridge Hill, southbound near Junction 2 of the M2 for Strood and Rochester.

Emergency services were called to the scene and the road was partially blocked while the vehicles were cleared. Drivers faced delays in the area, with congestion building on approaches.

The road has since reopened.
