West Mercia Police said they were called at around 4.45pm on Tuesday (September 16) to reports of a collision at a slip road off the A448 Bromsgrove Highway. The collision involved a car and a van. Photos shared from the scene last week show a van which had gone off the road.

No injuries or arrests were reported. A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: "We were called at around 4.45pm on 16 Sep to a collision at the junction of the A448 (Bromsgrove Highway) and Pikes Pool Lane. "The collision involved a car and a van.

"No serious injuries were reported and no arrests were made." The A448 Bromsgrove Highway was now closed whilst emergency services dealt with the incident. The closure was heading towards Bromsgrove between Tardebigge and the Oakalls Roundabout due to the collision.

There were also reports of delays on Alcester Road and through the Oakalls on Regents Park Road.
