These locations of mobile speed camera vans in Yorkshire this week.

The locations of every mobile speed camera set to be in force in West Yorkshire this week have been revealed.

The camera sites are usually put where police believe collisions are likely to take place. Usually they are placed where there have been several incidents that have led to casualties caused by speeding vehicles.

It is has been proven by West Yorkshire Police[1] Camera Enforcement, who work on behalf of West Yorkshire[2] Safety Camera Partnership, that frequent mobile enforcement is the most effective method to stop crashes. The cameras shine a laser to determine the speeds of passing cars and vehicles.

Below is every mobile speed camera in Bradford[3], Kirklees[4] and Wakefield[5] this week.
