Appeal launched as motorcyclist dies near Warwickshire after collision with lorry

Warwickshire Police are appealing for witnesses or dashcam footage after a collision near Hams Hall in North Warwickshire[1]. The collision occured yesterday (September 5). Emergency services were called to the scene where a lorry and a motorbike collided on the A446 at around 1:40pm.

The motorcyclist, said to be in his 70s, died at the scene. The force says his next of kin has been informed and is being supported by specialist officers. Road closures were in place while emergency services were in attendance.

A spokesperson for Warwickshire Police[4] said: "We're appealing for witnesses or dashcam footage following a collision near Hams Hall yesterday (Friday 5 September). "Emergency services were called to a collision between a lorry and a motorbike on the A446 at around 1.40pm. Sadly the motorcyclist - a man in his 70s - died at the scene.

A 48-year-old man has been charged in connection with the incident.
