Tributes have been paid to a much-loved pub[1] worker who was tragically killed in a crash.

Chloe Lightfoot was on her way home from work when her Citroen Berlingo van collided with a lorry.

The 33-year-old mum-of-one was travelling on the A66 near Bowes, in County Durham, when the incident took place on the morning of August 26.

Chloe's colleagues at Tan Hill Inn, near Richmond, North Yorkshire[2], attended her funeral today (September 10), Yorkshire Live reports[3].

In a post on social media, the pub shared a photo of Chloe and said: "It is with huge sadness that we say goodbye to our fellow Tan Hill team member Chloe Lightfoot whose funeral it is today.

"Chloe, 33, was taken from us in a tragic accident last month and her passing leaves a void in the world, and our inn."

The pub said Chloe would be 'sorely missed' and passed on its condolences to her family. It also shared a GoFundMe page[5] which is raising money for Chloe's son.

Customers of Tan Hill Inn, which is famous for being Britain's highest pub, also paid tribute to Chloe.

One commented: "I am shocked and saddened to hear this. She was a lovely person and so friendly when I chatted to her when she was behind the bar.

My deepest condolences to all who were close to her. A tragic loss."

Pubgoers remembered Chloe as kind-hearted, beautiful and welcoming.

Last month, Chloe's family released a statement that said: "Chloe was a beautiful young woman, who was a mother, daughter, granddaughter, sister, girlfriend, and friend to many.

"To never see her smile again is breaking our hearts. We are going to miss her every day.

Our memories have never been so important to us as we try to come to terms with what has happened.

We love her so much.

She will never be forgotten."

The collision happened at around 8am on August 26 on the A66 when Chloe was on her way home to Spennymoor, County Durham.
