Driver named after fatal three-vehicle crash on A66 in Cumbria
A man who died in a three-vehicle collision on the A66 has been named.
The collision between Bridgefoot and Broughton Cross was reported at 9:57am on September 9 and involved a grey Volkswagen Golf, a Scania HGV and a blue Volkswagen Caddy panel van.
John Toynbee, 65, of Cockermouth was the driver of the Volkswagen Golf, and was pronounced dead at the scene of the collision.
