Fatal collision on A65 at Clapham bypass under investigation
The 55-year old was driving a Mini car when it was involved in a collision with a white HGV driven by a 41-year old man on the A65 between Austwick and Clapham. The road was closed following the collision from around 11.30am to 9pm. A police spokesperson said: "Sadly, the driver of the Mini died at the scene.
We are supporting his family while the investigation continues."
