High Wycombe Abbey Way flyover crash saw woman cared for by paramedics
Firefighters, the ambulance service and the police responded after a white van was involved in a crash with a black car on Abbey Way flyover on Saturday night (September 26). The road was cordoned off and photos from the scene show damage to the front of the van, as well as to the side of the car. Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue has since confirmed that a woman required treatment from paramedics after the collision.
Crash and emergency response on A40 by High Wycombe's Eden Centre(Image: Supplied) A spokesperson said: "One crew from High Wycombe and one from Beaconsfield, along with two officers attended. "Two men were out on arrival, a woman was passed into the care of South Central Ambulance Service.
"The firefighters used stabilisation equipment, a longboard and an immediate emergency care kit.
"A road closure was put in place, Thames Valley Police also attended."
The incident took place on the northbound carriageway near the Eden Centre.
