Live updates as Stoke-on-Trent road blocked after ‘lorry and car collided’

Emergency services are at the scene of a crash on Trentham Road this morning. According to an eye-witness the collision involved a "lorry and car". They told Stoke-on-Trent Live: "Major police incident in Newstead.

Road closed as lorry and car have collided. At least two fire engines and two ambulances with police presence." Traffic monitoring system Inrix states: "A5035 Trentham Road in both directions partially blocked, slow traffic due to accident at Barlaston Road."
