Long delays on M25 between Sevenoaks and Orpington due to crash

There were long delays on the M25 this morning after a crash involving a lorry and a car. It happened at around 9am on the clockwise carriageway between Junction 5 at the Chevening Interchange near Chipstead, Sevenoaks, and Junction 4 near Orpington.

Traffic analytics site Inrix reported that two lanes of the motorway were blocked, which have since reopened. There was congestion to Clacket Lane Services, and back down the A21 past the A25 at Sevenoaks.

Highways officers have been managing road closures, and all lanes had reopened by around midday.
