Lorry driver rushed to hospital after M6 crash as motorway remains shut
A lorry driver has been taken to hospital following a serious crash on the M6 which has shut the motorway in Lancashire[1] for hours.
Emergency services including police, fire crews, paramedics and highways officers were called to the incident on the northbound carriageway between J34 and J35 near Lancaster[2] shortly before 2.30am today (September 2).
Lancashire Police said officers arrived at the scene to find that a HGV had overturned and collided with the central reservation. No other vehicles were involved. Advertisement
