Lorry stuck on island causes heavy Watford to Bushey traffic

Herts Police were called to the A411 London Road at around 4.14pm today (September 4) with reports of a crash involving an articulated lorry. It had become stuck, with its rear right wheels up on an island at a traffic light controlled pedestrian crossing in the road. No one has been injured.

A fence at one side of the road is damaged, although it is unclear whether this is the result of the crash this afternoon.
