M6 lorry crash live as driver face hour-long delays

Drivers are facing lengthy delays following a double lorry collision on the M6. Three lanes are currently closed on the M6 northbound between Junction 7 (Great Barr) and Junction 8 (M5) after the HGVs crashed. There is an hour delay and four miles of tailbacks.

They added: "Lanes 1, 2 and 3 (of 4) are closed following a collision between 2 lorries. "As a result, there is also a spillage of transmission fluid and anti-freeze. "Traffic is passing the incident in lane 4 only."
