Newnham Bridge A456: serious crash involving 4 vehicles
Two cars, a pickup truck and a flatbed van were involved in the crash on the A456 in Newnham Bridge near Tenbury Wells on Thursday which saw all three emergency services attend. Three Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crews - one each from Tenbury Wells, Leominster and Hereford Fire Stations - supported by a Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service crew from Cleobury Mortimer - were called at 4.50pm. A spokesperson for Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said: "The incident involved two cars, a pickup truck which had rolled over and a flatbed-type van.
One female casualty was extricated from her vehicle by fire service personnel. "Four casualties were handed over to the care of the ambulance service who attended along with police and air ambulance. The incident was marked as pending closure at 6.47pm."
We have approached West Mercia Police and the West Midlands Ambulance Service about the incident.
