Floral tributes were left at the scene of the crash and North Wales Police appealed for witnesses to come forward.[4] Detective Inspector for the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, Tim Evans added: "I share my deepest condolences with the woman's family at this difficult time. "Tragically, this is now being investigated as a fatal collision, and I am appealing to anyone who witnessed the collision to contact us.
"I am also appealing to anyone who was travelling in the area of the former North Wales Weekly News/ Lidl roundabout between 7-7.40am and has dashcam footage leading up to the collision to contact us." Anybody with information that could assist the investigation should contact police via the website or by calling 101, quoting reference C129698. Another biker, Polish-born Pawel Dlugosz was riding with a group of friends when his machine was involved in a collision on the A525 Ruthin[5] Road in Bwlchgwyn, Wrexham[6], on August 24.
The 49-year-old lorry driver, of Herbert Street, St Helens, was certified dead at the scene and a provisional cause of death was given as multiple blunt force injuries. In a tribute after his death Mr Dlugosz's family described him as "a devoted husband and an extraordinary dad".[7] "He was a man who always looked out for others, who never hesitated to help and who made people feel safe and cared for."
The family supported the appeal by North Wales Police[8] for witnesses who may have seen a group of about 10 motorcyclists riding through Coedpoeth on August 24.
Both inquests were adjourned to dates to be fixed.
