Woman taken to hospital after London Colney A414 crash

Herts police were called at 11.26am today, following reports of a road traffic collision on North Orbital Road, near the London Colney Roundabout. A lorry and a car were involved in the incident which partially closed the A414. One fire engine also attended the scene and firefighters carried out a "trauma assessment" on an occupant of the car.

A spokesperson for the East of England Ambulance service has since confirmed that one woman was transported to Barnet General Hospital for further assessment and care.

The A414 North Orbital Road reopened earlier this afternoon and delays have now cleared.
