Family pay tribute to 59-year-old who died in M60 crash

David Shepherd, 59, died in the fatal collision which took place on the M60 at around 6.15pm on Sunday, October 12. The crash involved two cars[1] and a motorbike between junctions 15 and 16 on the clockwise carriageway. A spokesperson for the family said: "[He was] a loving father, grandfather, brother, partner and friend to all.

David embraced life with a boyish charm and a smile on his face. "He lived each day as it came and brightened the lives of everyone around him. He will forever be in our hearts."

David Shepherd (Image: GMP) Two drivers[2] were arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving following the incident, but have since been bailed. Officers[3] are continuing to investigate the incident and have appealed for anyone with information to come forward.

This includes anyone who witnessed it or has dashcam footage from the scene.
